Why You’ll Love This Guacamole
This guacamole is all about bold flavor and texture. It’s creamy, chunky, zesty, and completely addictive. Whether you’re spreading it on toast, scooping it with nachos, or adding it to tacos, this quick recipe will instantly upgrade any meal. Inspired by traditional Mexican guacamole, this recipe keeps it simple and fresh.
If you’re looking for the best guacamole for tacos, this chunky version is just right.
Ingredients:
1-2 ripe avocados (or more if you like)
Lime juice, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Lime salt, to taste
How to Make the Perfect Authentic Guacamole:
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and gently scoop out the flesh with a spoon.
Place the avocado in a mortar or bowl. Add lime salt, black pepper, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
Use a pestle (or fork) to mash the avocado. Leave some chunks for a satisfying texture.
The secret to the best flavor? Only the ripest avocados make it into my guacamole.

How to Use Guacamole:
Try not to put it on everything!
Spread on toast, add to tacos, serve with shrimp or grilled veggies.
Scoop it up with nachos… or just eat it straight with a spoon.
Cooking Notes
This recipe only works with perfectly ripe avocados. They should be soft but not mushy. Don’t aim for a smooth purée. Leave it chunky. That’s what makes it so good!
Versatile Serving Suggestions
Guacamole is incredibly versatile. Here are some ideas to elevate your meals:
1. Tacos
Add a generous dollop to your tacos. The creaminess of the guacamole balances beautifully with the spices in your meat or veggies.
2. Sandwiches and Wraps
Spread guacamole on your sandwiches or wraps. It adds flavor and moisture, enhancing even the simplest ingredients.
3. Grilled Dishes
Pair guacamole with grilled chicken, shrimp, or vegetables. The freshness of the avocado complements the smoky flavors.
